Growing older does not mean losing one's cognitive abilities or autonomy, but sometimes simply needing time, support, and a reassuring presence to continue doing things by oneself.

My name is Jeanne THELU SICARD, founder of MADRE & VOUS. From an early age, I felt the need to be helpful to vulnerable people. As a teenager, I supported a relative with Alzheimer's disease. Later, while pursuing my notarial studies, I became involved with an association supporting isolated individuals. When I worked as a notary specializing in family law, I was in contact with many seniors, isolated, vulnerable or overwhelmed people. Over the years, I observed a growing isolation, often silent, linked to changing life rhythms and family distances. This observation led me to create MADRE & VOUS, a personalized, human and discreet support service, born from a journey and a conviction. The name MADRE is a tribute to my two grandmothers, Madeleine and Andrée, for whom old age and isolation were not always easy. It also echoes the word mother, a fundamental role for me as a mother of three children, and a central value in the way I provide support with attention and responsibility. MADRE & VOUS was born from a simple conviction: taking time, creating connections, and providing attentive support.
