Personal Services tax credit: simply understanding this system

Using a home support service helps secure daily life, preserve autonomy and maintain essential quality of life. However, many are unaware that part of these services can be covered by the State through the Personal Services tax credit.

At MADRE & VOUS, we want to enable everyone to easily understand this system to make home support more accessible.

What is the Personal Services tax credit?

The Personal Services tax credit is a fiscal system that allows recovering 50% of expenses incurred for certain services performed at home, within the limits defined by current regulations.

This tax advantage concerns a wide public: seniors, families, people in convalescence, working people or young parents. It helps lighten the real cost of services while promoting quality of life.

Which services are eligible at MADRE & VOUS?

MADRE & VOUS is declared under Personal Services and has an official receipt authorizing the exercise of the following activities:

  • House maintenance and housework
  • Small gardening work, including clearing
  • Small odd jobs called "handyman"
  • Administrative assistance at home
  • IT and internet assistance at home
  • Assistance for people temporarily needing personal help at home, excluding medical care
  • Accompaniment of people temporarily needing personal help in their travels outside the home when included in a home assistance offer
  • Collection and delivery of ironed laundry at home as part of a home assistance offer
  • Maintenance, upkeep and temporary vigilance at home of the main or secondary residence
  • Care and walking of pets for dependent people (excluding veterinary care and grooming)
  • Delivery of shopping at home as part of a home assistance offer
  • Beauty care at home for dependent people

These services are performed in compliance with Personal Services regulations and in a personalized approach, focused on the needs and pace of each beneficiary.

Who can benefit from the tax credit?

The tax credit is accessible to any person with tax residence in France, whether taxable or not.

Why is this system important?

The tax credit helps facilitate access to home support services in serene and secure conditions.

It also offers families the possibility of being supported in organizing daily life while guaranteeing human support that respects autonomy.

At MADRE & VOUS, each intervention is designed to preserve life balance, maintain social connections and accompany important daily moments with attention and kindness.
